Our Gaushala

We are working towards a Vedic-Gaushal by not acting as the dairy industry. Our aim is to protect, preserve, and nurture the Indian cow in a healthy habitat. Our practices are in harmony with nature. We never use artificial insemination or synthetic hormone treatments for reproduction or to increase milk production. We never make any compromise on the quality or quantity of food and water given to each Gaumata, no matter how much milk it produces. Our focus is on the religious importance of cows and the nutrition and development of mankind by their invaluable qualities.

We provide Gaumata’s organic diet based on research on its nutritional value and its own tastes and preferences. The fodder, we give to Gaumata is prepared in high quality and biologically. Gaushala performs daily Vedic Havan (Yajnopaveet Sanskar) to maintain the sanctity of its divine environment. Devotional music and Sanskrit Mantras are also played in the background every day, which helps keep Gaumata happy and healthy.

We are ambitious, but not greedy! We are ambitious about bringing back the lost glory of the Indian cow and to ensure that every household and every child gets healthy milk, Milk Products, and Organic products.

We make sure that the calves get their share of milk, the calf in our gaushala is free to feed on their mother’s two aanchal (udder) to their satisfaction and use the remaining two to get milk for other living beings including humans. Every mother loves her child the most and it is universally applicable, cow is no exception.

An unhappy cow or the mother of a starving calf is depressed, she can only get violent and sinful milk when she is milked. A happy cow is one whose calf is well-fed, healthy, and which is left open in the sun for grazing instead of keeping it tied all day long.
